Your own Sprinter, the small-group route

Don’t want a full private tour? Are bus tours too large for spending quality time in Yosemite? Our Semi-Private Sprinter Van Tour gives you the small-group Glacier Point and Yosemite Valley route and pace — but the van is reserved for your party alone.

These tours are designed for couples celebrating an anniversary, a birthday, or a special event. Take someone out for a wonderful day in the park without sharing the vehicle with strangers.

The semi-private tour has a maximum of nine guests and includes an Ahwahnee lunch or a picnic lunch with a free t-shirt.

Our itinerary — Glacier Point and Yosemite Valley

Depending on the day and season we visit Glacier Point or Yosemite Valley first. From Chinquapin we climb to Glacier Point — passing McGurk Meadow, Ostrander Lake, Bridalveil Creek, Dewey Point, the Badger Pass ski area, Sentinel Dome, Taft Point, and Washburn Point — and stop 30–45 minutes at the overlook.

When we reach Yosemite Valley we stop at Tunnel View for the jaw-dropping view as we come out of the Tunnel, then beneath El Capitan, before lunch and the Valley sights.

Optional Four Mile Trail hike

At Glacier Point, guests who want hiking time can descend the Four Mile Trail (about 5 miles, ~3,200 ft elevation change) and meet us at Yosemite Valley Lodge. This hike is strenuous — be prepared with appropriate clothing and footwear. Crossroads Tours is not offering a personal guided hike; by hiking you release Crossroads Tours from liability.

Our guides

Our guides are all local and going to Yosemite is their passion. Each brings their own experiences, stories, and secret spots to share with you.

Questions we hear a lot

FAQ.

How is this different from the small-group tour?
Same route, same guide, same pace — but the Sprinter is reserved for your party only. No strangers aboard. It is priced per person.
How many people can come?
Semi-private is built for couples and small parties. Book the whole van for your group, up to nine.
Is lunch really at the Ahwahnee?
We refund $25 per guest toward an Ahwahnee lunch you pay for directly, or you can take a picnic lunch with a free t-shirt instead — especially nice on a blue-sky day.
I'm not a U.S. resident — is there an extra park fee?
Yes. The national park charges non-U.S. residents a $100-per-person entry fee that is not included in any tour price. Please bring it in cash — your guide collects it at the start of the tour. Guests without the fee cannot enter the park, and the tour might be canceled without refund.
